Dr. Jaylee Edwards -- Licensed Chiropractor
I grew up in the Denton community and am now excited to be back, providing Chiropractic care to it and the surrounding areas. After high-school I attended North Central Texas College and earned an Associates of Science before enrolling at Parker University where I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree alongside two bachelor degrees: Bachelor’s of Science and Bachelor’s of Health and Wellness.

In high-school, while training for a 5K I became unable to breath or run without constant pain in my rib area. I went to medical doctors, had imaging done and was given no hope or solution to my pain. The only option they could give me was pain medication, which only masked the symptoms and could not fix the root cause of my pain. Finally, a medical doctor suggested I try Chiropractic. I never knew what Chiropractic was but at this point I was willing to try anything. I went to see a Chiropractor and the solution was so simple, my rib was not moving and functioning the way it was supposed to. After a few weeks of consistent Chiropractic care, my pain was gone! I fell in love with the power that Chiropractic has and the ability it has to help people live a healthy and pain free lifestyle.
Fast forward 9 years and I am now honored to be a Chiropractor so I can help people live their lives to the fullest. Throughout my time at Parker University, I have learned that getting adjusted is about so much more than just pain. Yes, Chiropractic care can help you get out of pain, but it is more importantly about your body functioning at 100%.
I love serving anyone with Chiropractic care, but in particular I have a passion for treating families. I have additional training in seeing women throughout pregnancy to postpartum and pediatrics. I believe that one of the most important times to receive consistent Chiropractic care is during pregnancy. The body changes so much within a short period of time to grow a new life and specific adjustments help the body function at 100% and adapt to the stressors pregnancy can cause. I also love seeing children because it is easier to raise healthy children than repair damaged adults. From day 1 babies can benefit from chiropractic care, the birthing process can often be traumatic for them and specific adjustments can help while your child grows through their developmental milestones.
I can’t wait to help you and your family achieve your health & wellness goals!
