Do you feel as if you are at a crossroads in life? Perhaps you have recently undergone a crisis or find yourself feeling helpless, hopeless and alone. There is hope, we are here to help, and you don’t have to face this alone. My overall goal in therapy is to create an environment in which you feel like you can be fully heard and understood. We are all unique creations of God.

Therefore, I believe it is important to focus on each individual and their specific unique needs. This may present a new vantage point in which you can learn to accept yourself and feel empowered to heal and grow. Whatever you’re struggling with, everyone has within themselves the capacity for change, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.

When I first started my undergraduate work, I knew that I wanted to pursue a helping profession. At that time, I was a pre-nursing major with the intent of becoming a registered nurse. However, throughout my coursework, my interest and desire to learn more about behavioral health grew immensely. With some self-discovery and a lot of faith, I knew that switching to the mental health field was the right choice for me. In 2018 I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology at Texas Woman’s University. I am currently pursuing my master’s in professional counseling at Amberton University.
A little more about me… Within the first month of moving to Denton, TX I met the love of my life and we married a couple of years later in 2020. My husband and I have a lab-mix puppy (Lilly) and two longhaired cats (Bandit and Willow). In my free time I enjoy painting, playing board games, reading, and doing puzzle “escape rooms” with family and friends.

“Mental pain is less dramatic than physical pain, but it is more common and also harder to bear. The frequent attempt to conceal mental pain increases the burden: it is easier to say “My tooth is aching” than to say “My heart is broken.” C.S. Lewis
