Lakysha Chambers is a Practicum Student Intern with Amberton University, currently studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. With over 7 years of experience in the helping profession, Lakysha is deeply committed to supporting survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. She works daily at Refuge for Women North Texas, where she provides care and guidance to those overcoming trauma.Passionate about trauma education and therapy, Lakysha is dedicated to empowering individuals to heal and grow.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas and has called the DFW area home since 2017.
