Madelyn Chisum, Master's Level Counseling Student, Supervised by Kristi Longley LPC-S
|
Hello, my name is Madelyn Chisum! I am currently completing my Master's degree in professional counseling at Oral Roberts University. This is also where I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology. My approach to counseling is holistic, emphasizing whole-person healing. I believe that spiritual foundations support psychological understandings, and I am encouraged when both can integrate.

I love to see people walk in their full potential, and have been passionate about being a helper for as long as I can remember. There have been many opportunities that have led me to where I am today, such as helping lead programs for troubled youth at an equine ranch, being involved in ministry my whole life, and serving in mentorship roles in various capacities. I understand how quickly pressures can surface, and I would be honored to come alongside you to navigate difficult situations that may arise.
My counseling style combines empathy, compassion, and collaboration to promote healing across all aspects of living, including relational, emotional, and spiritual. I have a heart for adolescents, young adults, and women. I am especially driven to help those who are processing stress, anxiety, life transitions, relational difficulties, and those pursuing their calling.
Some things I enjoy outside of the office include anything outdoors in the sunshine, anything involving animals, thrifting, and traveling! I am grateful for the opportunity to come alongside and be a support as you move on your own journey. As growth and healing take place, my hope is that you experience God-given peace and joy.
