Greek Meaning: "From the Gut"
Splankna: A Christian Perspective on Emotional Healing Splankna is a Christian-based method of emotional healing that combines elements of energy psychology, muscle testing, and the subconscious mind to address and resolve emotional trauma. The name "Splankna" is derived from a Greek word meaning "the innermost being" or “gut feeling,” symbolizing the deep connection between our subconscious and the patterns we experience throughout life. Emotional wounds can stem from major events—like abuse, loss, or accidents—or from seemingly minor ones, such as bullying, rejection, or early forgotten experiences. Regardless of the intensity, these moments leave lasting impressions in both the body and the subconscious mind. Even when we’re unaware of them, our bodies—and God—hold those memories. Unresolved emotions and memories often become stored in the body. When certain situations trigger them, we might experience emotional responses like fear, sadness, anger, or frustration—or even physical symptoms such as stress, tension, or pain. These reactions typically point to deeper, underlying issues. The Splankna approach offers a structured way to identify and heal the root causes behind these responses. It helps individuals recognize recurring patterns in their lives and invites God to take part in the healing journey. Utilizing methods inspired by Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Splankna is grounded in biblical principles and guided through prayer. |
