Jennifer Doherty, M.Ed., Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, Supervised by Christy Stone LPC-S
In 2006, after 14 years in secondary education God called me into the counseling realm. Since that time God has used me to help adolescents, young adults, and families deal with various trials and tribulations.
As a Christian, I believe God created us with an innate need for a good relationship with Him, with others, and with ourselves. I also believe a person’s faith can be drawn upon for additional support and encouragement during difficult times. |

I am here to help my clients create positive change and empowerment for confident, joyful, hopeful and fulfilling lives. I believe in supplying an empathetic, non-judgmental ear to those looking for a safe place to be authentic while finding help and healing.
I am extremely passionate about helping others, and I would love the opportunity to remind you of your strengths, walk with you through the valleys of life and help you emerge living the life you feel good about while achieving your goals.
I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors.
Specialties Include:
Anxiety, Stress, Depression, Self-Esteem, and Relationship Issues
Biblical Scripture I lean on:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
“Counseling has to do with intuition, with work on oneself, with the quietness of one’s mind and the openness of one’s heart. “
