I believe there is power in processing through life's challenges with a professional that truly cares. This is why I am passionate about creating a safe, trusting, and judgement-free environment for my clients to explore their past and present hurts and restore peace and find healing from those burdens. My desire is to provide support catered to the individual needs of the client.

I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, a master's degree in Curriculum and Educational Leadership and a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, all from Texas Woman's University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate under the supervision of Rebekah dePeo-Christner, LPC-S, LCDC, NCC. I have thirteen years of experience working with children in an elementary school setting. My clinical interests are working with adolescents and adults, especially those experiencing trauma. My time in the classroom has also developed a deep desire to provide therapy for teachers and administrators as they navigate the challenges of the education system.

We know life can throw us all kinds of scenes and circumstances. Some of these moments are beautiful and some of them can happen in an instant and catch us off guard. It is easier to say, “when life gives you lemons, make lemonade” than to actually do it. The great news is that we do not have to stay stuck in a moment, we do not have to stay stuck in the hurt and the pain; we do not have to deal with life all on our own. God has promised to walk beside us and He gives us tools and resources that are in our reach when we need them. Therapy is one of those tools that are accessible to us.
